Short documentary "It's All Your Fault!” which I directed and edited,
re-examines what an ideal friendship is and whether it exists at all. Through the director's view of her group of friends, we see the world in which they grow up. Parties at Kvaka 22 squat, going on tour with the band "Dogs in Kavala" and life on toasted bread sound like a teenage dream that does come true for them in this film. Through archival footage and interviews of this female "band" that the whole city knows about, but which doesn’t really exist, the director tries to renew and strengthen this friendship. Forcing them to hang out and chat during the filming, the exact opposite happens.
I made the composition circular for this collage, everything starts with champagne and ends with the cherry bowl or vice versa. Using analogue photographs of characters from the movie from personal archive I menaged to show 3 main emotions or moods in the story. This collage was also made from illustrations that Nebojsa Resanovic made and animated for this movie. I used my own handwriting as typography to accentuate the video diary style of this movie but also to compliment this very personal storyof mine
